Travel by train?
The train will take you to Umeå and there you could take a public transport bus to Skellefteå.

Travel by plane?
From your home destination you travel to Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) and then onwards to Skellefteå (SFT).
Skellefteå is only one hour away from Stockholm.
From the airport there are bus and taxi services to take you to the centre of Skellefteå, only 15 minutes away.
Check in at the airport is only 30 minutes before departure and there are bus connections for all departures,
except on Saturday when there is no bus service.
It is also possible to fly to Umeå and take a bus to Skellefteå (approximately 1h 50 min).
